Harry Potter Memes For Wizards Who Still Hate Umbridge

There's something about Dolores Umbridge, Harry's Defense Against The Dark Arts professor from his 5th year, that continues grinding readers' gears years after reading Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix for the first time. Many Potterheads even cite her as their most hated villain, superseding the series' ultimate villain, Voldemort. Why is that? I believe it's because Voldemort represents a type of evil that is terrifying but not relatable: I'm guessing you didn't have many red-eyed noseless demon alumni terrorizing your high school. However, Umbridge is incredibly similar to the horrible teachers many of us encountered during our academic years. She's the kind of teacher who gives you busy work instead of actually teaching. She gets defensive whenever she's questioned, even about minor issues. She rolls out punishments that go way too far, crossing some serious ethical boundaries. If you've ever had a teacher like that, you have every right to continue to resent Dolores Umbridge.
