Parenting is difficult. I'm not a parent, but my cat has been sick before. My guess is that parenting a not-sick baby is kind of like having a very sick cat but 24/7 and louder. Some people choose to be stay-at-home parents. Personally, my hate for doing dishes outweighs my desire for staying home, so I guess I have to go out and work. I don't think that being a stay-at-home parent is more or less fulfilling than having a career, but I can imagine it can be difficult for the other parent to come home and find that the stay-at-home partner is not doing the work around the house.
In this Am I The A$$hole post, OP writes about how his wife has been a stay-at-home mom for a few years now. Financially, they can afford it and in theory it would work out well. But, OP claims that his son is now in school for most of the day and the house is still a complete mess when he comes home. So, what do you think? Is it too harsh to claim she doesn't do anything? Should she be putting in more effort? Do you think there is something deeper is the problem here? Let us know down below.
