'They try to kiss noses through the glass!': Cat in Store Window Waits Patiently for Her Dog Bestie to Show Up and Greet Her

  So last week, my dog and I walked past this storefront and we saw this cat in the window, and ever since we have made friends with this cat.

  You can see here my dog is dragging me towards the store. Anytime we walk near it, she drags me towards it.

  I swear she has a better sense of direction than I do. And guys, this morning the cat was waiting for us in the window. 

  This is my dog getting confused, like, where the cat is. But you'll see in just a second, the cat was just sitting there waiting for us. What? They try to kiss their noses through the glass, which is so sweet. 

  This cat looks so sweet. There's also a little sliver of, like, crack in the right side of the window that I try to put my finger through so that the cat can sniff me.

  Also, apparently, this cat is pretty well-known because there were two other women that walked past when I was hanging out with the cat, and they were like, “Oh, my gosh, we know this cat." Apparently, at night all the lights are out in the storefront except for some fairy lights, and the cat just sits kind of omniscient on the windowsill like this, and they took a picture of it and showed me the picture.

  I'm really tempted to put a note through the mail slot of this store because I don't think it's actually a storefront. I don't think they're ever actually open. I'm really tempted to put a note in their mailslot with my phone number asking if I can meet the cat in person or at least know their name. And I would really love to drop off treats or toys or something, but I obviously want to make sure that that's okay with the owner first. But this is, like, the highlight of our walks. 

  Now we have to always stop by and sometimes the cat's not in the window, and we kind of wait there, and then the cat will see us and we'll kind of gently tap in the glass and they'll come up to hang out. It makes my day. It's so hard to leave every single day.

  Look how sweet. I'm going to cry. So sweet, Little feet. Oh, my the little air biscuit. Stop it. Stop it. 

  That really left us on a cliffhanger. We're ready to see more!

  Guys, I just met the cat.

  We just happened to walk past again this evening, and the owner was in there.

  I'd never seen the store open before, and he let me and my dog come in, and he was so nice.

  And the cat's name is Patches. She's a female.

  And apparently one night, she was just on the street and she followed him home from a karaoke bar and has been with him since.

  Also, he didn't know that she was pregnant, so when he first got her, she had three kittens, and she was just in the store now.

  And he's told me that she recently become, like, a local celebrity.

  I need to go back on my own without my dog one day because my dog did scare Patches a little bit. I'll insert some videos, but her name is Patches. 

  So now when I see her, I'll call her by name. This is Patches. 

  Kind of hiding She's so cute.
