Twitter Thread: Fussy And Spoiled Cats Fooling Their 'Experienced' Owners
Life with cats… is not nearly as easy as some people think it is. You may think that cat ownership is just about giving them food and water and cleaning their litter box, but no. Cats… cats are criminals at heart. They do what they want when they want, and they use their innocent appearance to fool us into letting them commit their crimes. You think we're kidding? We're not. Have you not seen that story about the cats who locked their humans out of the bathroom and caused chaos? Or the one about the cat who robbed a supermarket and stole 3 sausages? Straight up criminals.
It doesn't matter how long you've had cats or how experienced of a cat owner you are, your cats will fool you. And it's true that, most times, it would just be little things - like continuously tricking you into thinking that they're into the new food that you bought them - but those things would be hella annoying too lol.

We truly don't understand why they would do this. The only possible explanation for why they keep fooling us into buying ridiculous quantities of food that they have no interest in is their unbidden desire for chaos. Nothing else explains it! And yet, despite knowing this, we fall for it every single time.

It doesn't matter the condition, okay? Blind, super senior, stray… a cat is a cat, and a cat will demand purrfection from you. It's our own fault for being so friggin' whipped for them. We don't have to cave to their demands. But we do. Every time. Because we really are that whipped.
