The original poster described how eventually, she just stopped going outside to say hi because she was tired of rapidly throwing on her bra and rushing to look presentable for her husband's crazy family. The Redditor's husband told his mother that his wife was taking a nap, but then his mother abruptly told him to tell her to get dressed and come out to see her. Obviously, this was some sort of sick and calculated test. No sweet and well-meaning mother-in-law would ever!
