Well, here we are. We've finally entered that ambiguous period of time in between summer and fall: after Labor Day and before September 21st, the official First Day of Fall^TM. If your brain is still school-pilled, you're likely thinking that summer is definitely over by this point. However, if you're a Gregorian calendar stan and a lifelong intellectual, you're still basking in the glory of the hottest and most gorgeous season. You aren't bound to the laws and standards of the educational system. It IS still summer, and you don't need to pretend like it isn't. Go to the amusement park! Go to the beach! Who is stopping you? Nobody! Do we pretend it's not summer during June, even though it's technically still spring? Absolutely not. As an adult, it is your duty to spread the best season as long and as thin as possible, and that includes right now.
