Hi, friends! How is everyone doing today? Whether your day is just beginning or coming to an end, we hope you're having a fabulous Friday. Though if you're not, then hopefully the following article will cheer you up. We recently stumbled upon a Twitter thread where someone posted photos of them and their void. The man told the story of how he was never really a 'pet person' let alone a 'cat person'. But everything changed when a black kitten made an appearance in his life, resulting in adoption. Fast forward 5 years and the two are inseparable. As we scrolled through the thread, it turned out that a lot of people have similar stories. They didn't think that they were pet people, especially cat people. Then one magical day, a kitty cat adopts them and the rest is history. If there's any takeaway from this thread it's that there's no such thing as not being a pet person, you just haven't met the right pet.
"I was never a pet person and definitely not a cat person but 5 years ago today, I adopted Regan and it changed my life. If you're also curmudgeonly about animals, give it a second thought; you might surprise yourself. And they'll only occasionally attack your face. "
"Couldn't agree more. I adopted Stanley when the pandemic started and it's even better than I could have imagined. Makes me wish I had done it sooner. I loved the cameo in the Christmas or Cats episode of BOTW"
