Whenever a family breaks up over infidelity, nobody wants to be seen as the bad guy, even if they were the parent that was involved in the cheating. Sometimes, the parents aren't even ready to admit to the kids what exactly went down to cause the breakup because they think they can't handle the truth or they just don't want to deal with the gravity of the situation. Whatever path they choose to take, the truth will come out eventually. It's only a matter of time.
