Sometimes you search for funny things, but sometimes funny things are thrust upon you. That's what happened recently to viral online comedian Chris Guerra when he and his girlfriend purchased a cheap scooter from a dollar store.

There was no review of the scooter from the comedian, but boy did he review that manual. Who knows what it was translated from, but whoever did it definitely does not have spellcheck. They either just threw the thing into Google Translate and just went with whatever came out, or they got bamboozled by a fake translator who actually speaks English very poorly. This is in no way making fun of anyone for trying to learn a new language—it's difficult and grammatical errors are expected along the way! But when you're looking at a company's official document that they decided to include with their product and the translate is this mess up, it's hard not to laugh. It says things like don't take the scooter to the “forbidden place” and calls parents/legal guardians “protective people.”

Who approved of this? The translation talks as if a tiny new born baby will be riding this scooter. It also forbids the riders from ever being in the rain or direct sunlight, like a houseplant. The topper is the end with the non-sensical word “loblolly," which is hard to understand what the author was trying to convey even by using context clues.
