Once you've been around the block, work-wise, it becomes easier to spot the glaring red flags when you step into an interview for a new position. More often than not, employers aren't as great at hiding their glaring flaws as they would like to think they are. An offhand comment here and a behind the scenes peek there, and it doesn't take long to realize a place isn't for you.
There are two ways to deal with a situation like this: either politely suck it up and look forward to the half an hour in the future when you'll never have to talk to them again, or give them a piece of your mind. When u/acfreeman94 found themselves in this situation, they decided to go for the latter option — and despite the harsh words, they still got offered the job. It just goes to show that you should never undersell your value.
