Calling all pig lovers! @thedodo uploaded an adorable video of a pig who is a little too obsessed with pumpkins! In fact, he loves them so much that he runs around the neighborhood, stealing his neighbor's pumpkins. His owner, @aquickfix, was mortified and explained: 'I didn't realize pigs could be such escape artists. I had no idea that he loved pumpkins until this first Halloween. It didn't matter what I tried, changing the locks, changing the leash, he was gonna find a way to get out and get people's pumpkins.' And get them pumpkins, he did! Multiple camera security footage shows Carlton running around eating whatever pumpkin he could get his little snout on. He may be a little thief, but he's the cutest little thief we've ever seen. Poor Carlton's owner knew she had to let her neighbors know what was going on. She said ‘There was a lot of dread about having to tell the neighbors that he was eating their pumpkins, but everyone was amazing. After Halloween, everyone wanted to bring their pumpkins to Carlton.' She wrote a note to the neighbors stating that she would love to replace all the pumpkins that Carlton ate. We can imagine it must have felt quite embarrassing, but we're glad that it all worked out. Check out the note she wrote, plus a few pics of her neighbors coming to feed Carlton, it's totally priceless!
How Could Anyone Be Mad?
The owner went on to say, 'Carlton ate so many pumpkins in the front yard, and when pigs eat they kind of take their nose as a shovel and smear stuff around. So I think he just planted his own garden. My entire front yard sprouted into a pumpkin patch. so now, Carlton grows his own pumpkins.' And below you will find incredible proof of her words. There is an entire pumpkin patch growing and it looks lowkey delicious.
