Pregnant Woman Storms Out Of Baby Shower After Mother-In-Law Denies Her Food And Calls Her A 'Large Walrus'
Another week, another hellish mother-in-law featured on the 'Am I the A$$hole' subreddit. We've covered so many stories about controlling mother-in-laws, but today's post just might take the cake. And by that we mean that OP's mother-in-law quite literally took the cake OP was trying to eat at her baby shower. Apparently, OP's MIL always made comments about OP's weight, even before she got pregnant. Now that she's pregnant, the comments have gotten even worse. OP is very confident in her own skin, and chose to ignore the comments until her MIL tried to prevent her from enjoying cake at the baby shower. She said that her son wouldn't be happy living with a large walrus if OP didn't change her eating habits. OP was so shocked and offended that she stormed out of the baby shower and didn't look back.
