Anyone familiar with the work of Nathan Fielder knows that his whole shtick doesn't fit comfortably in the idea of what a famous person should be like. Nathan For You and The Rehearsal have shown that the comedian isn't big on being the most personable, let alone basking in the spotlight.
Graduating from one of Canada's top business schools doesn't assure that you enjoy being on camera, especially when it comes as unexpected. After he went to see a New York Mets game on Friday night, he got singled out in the crowd for all to see, and he didn't look best pleased about it. This generated an amused reaction from Twitter, who were tickled to see one of the finest connoisseurs of cringe bringing his usual charm to the courtside. We've got to appreciate the commitment to the bit, even when off duty (or at least his natural facial expression).
