Now we've all witnessed the age-old debate of whether dogs should be allowed on the bed. Some are for it, some are against it. Some can't imagine a life where they don't cuddle their doggos in bed. Others can't imagine a world where they'd be sleeping on dirty sheets. Each side has valid points so at the end of the day it's what makes you and your dog most comfortable. Because let's be honest, some doggos would much prefer a nice and toasty bed of their own, rather than sleeping at the foot of yours.
But… but what about hospital beds? Now you're talking! We recently stumbled upon a Twitter thread where someone posted a photo of a man and a service dog in a hospital bed along with the big ol' question of whether people are for it or against it. We don't want to spoil too much of the article, but what we will say is that opinions sure did vary. If you ask us, we absolutely think they should be allowed up on the hospital bed. Nothing will comfort a sick man more than his best friend doggo. They quite literally have healing powers.
"…Dr. came back and told my friend I was improving -I'm not one prone to exaggeration but it was a miracle. All I did was call for my dog over and over- they didn't have the heart to take him away. I firmly believe he saved my life."
The proof is in the pudding.
"Dogs don't belong in hospitals. Even if it could happen, nurses & orderlies may not want to catch the loose ones, protect the scared patients who may be scared of dogs, or clean up after them. Be practical."
We have to admit, these are some valid points. Also, allergies.
