Update: Barbie actress's wardrobe malfunction before party causes dramatic Karen meltdown

The actress, Carolyn.vasko, usually dresses up as Elsa, Ariel, Ursula, or Barbie for birthday parties and other fun events. Sounds easy? Not so much. She frequently has to deal with all types of kids and adults, which must require a lot of patience and a good attitude. But even the best laid plans just don't work out sometimes. 

In a series of videos, carolyn.vasko shared what happened when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction between parties:

As she was changing from her Elsa costume to her Barbie costume around 6pm, the zipper on her top broke, making it basically unwearable.

 I mean, she couldn't show up to a party without half her costume! Carolyn.vasco called both the customer and her boss, and managed to contact her boss at 6:30pm. But the problem is, the woman whose party Vasco was slated to attend was VERY unhappy about the situation, and tried to say the performer was late. As Carolyn.vasco explains, the Karen customer called her boss to complain. The boss asked if the actress could just make the best of the situation. 

 

Carolyn.vasco explained that after she safety-pinned her shirt, the angry Karen called her to SCREAM about the actress's lateness. 

The party actress said no customer had ever yelled at her like that before. Luckily, people in the comments section came to support her.

After the outpouring of support, Carolyn.vasco released two followup videos to add more context and thank the commenters for being on her side after the nasty interaction. 

In the second video, she explained more details about what the Karen customer said to her. 

 

Apparently, Vasco has a clause in her contract that allows her to be up to 15 minutes late for cases just like this. 

But the Karen began yelling that Vasco: “She says, 'First you're 30 minutes late, then you're telling me you're 2 minutes away. And I'm on the street and I don't see anyone. I don't see anyone.' I've never been treated like this,” the actress said. She even pulled out a classic Karen line, telling the Barbie actress, “You don't even know who you're dealing with.”

 

Carolyn.vasco emphasized that these parties are important to her - but that she shouldn't have been talked to like that by the upset customer. 

Vasco finally arrived at the party at about 6:42 - but the Karen still wasn't done. After Vasco apologized, the customer said she didn't want to hear any more excuses (the excuse being, you know, a wardrobe malfunction that Vasco couldn't have foreseen). Anyway, the customer DID eventually apologize…but not before really upsetting Carolyn.vasco.
