If you're a true doggo lover, it shouldn't matter whether your dog is a purebred or a mix of many. Don't get us wrong, when adopting, breeds matter but only if you're allergic or if you have little children. Of course, it's fine to have preferences such as size, depending on your housing situation. It's also important to acknowledge your budget and whether you can afford a high-maintenance dog and/or a dog with many medical complications which could lead to hefty vet bills. But it shouldn't be your number one concern.
All we're saying is that you should adopt dogs only if you truly love them for who they are on the inside and not for their fancy breed type. This brings us to today's article. We recently stumbled upon a viral Twitter thread where people showed off pictures of their beautiful mutts and doggo mixes. We found so many new breed combinations that we've never ever seen so we encourage you to do the same! Enjoy :)
"I adopted my baby Ernesto, the early owner said that his mother was already a Chow Chow mix with some other dog - and then she escaped and got pregnant. so he is a Chow Chow grandson, mixed with 2 other dogs unknown. and it got pretty beautiful and unique
look at lil Ernie"
"Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix with some other stuff sprinkled in. His parent and grandparents on one side got around. He took 2 DNA tests from 2 companies for us to believe his biggest chunk is Aussie. He's a beautiful mutt."
Beautiful indeed!
