When we had crushes back in elementary school, it felt like the biggest deal in the world if they find out. That's why we would tell only our closest friends. We weren't even sure if we could trust them either, because what if they also happened to be into the crush and they sabotaged us intentionally so that they could hang out with him on the playground instead?! Obviously, we were overly dramatic and elementary school, but we're not ashamed about it because it turned us into the dramatic people we are today. Even in adulthood, we still have crushes, but we're not as secretive as we used to be. If we've been into someone for a while and can actually see it going somewhere, we'll let them know.
