It's no secret that the world is overflowing with stray cats. Doesn't matter what point of the globe you're in, chance is you'll be able to find a few strays roaming around your block. We're going to be honest with y'all, the mere thought of this breaks our hearts, souls, and spirits and just makes us want to shut down, cry, and hate the world forever. But that would be incredibly immature. So instead, we choose to look at the positive and celebrate the lucky lives of those who were able to get rescued and adopted into forever homes.
We recently stumbled upon the perfect thread to highlight and celebrate not only the lucky cats and kittens but also their amazing hooman beings! While we realize there is so much more work and adoption to be done, we're glad that these 22+ strays were able to turn things around for themselves and have the last meow.
"Mittens was abandoned outside my door. We found her crate on the side of the house. She just walked up to the front door and meowed. My husband opened the door and she walked in, rubbed up against us, and climbed onto our bed and fell asleep"
Love that lol
"Our most recent rescue, Pizza, was literally brought to our house by other neighborhood strays when he was sick because apparently we have built up quite a reputation"
First of all, Pizza is absolutely adorable! Tell her hi from us. Second, your neighborhood is so lucky to have you!
