You both bring bread to the table, I don't see the point of penny pinching and splitting every red cent down the middle with your partner. Why argue over free money you both get as extra now? I would save the money in a vacation account that can grow interest and use it to benefit you both. Plus it sounds like you both could use a break and a vacation.
