Japan is certainly known for having some very cute things, ranging from anime characters with big, doll-like eyes, to Hello Kitty, to packed lunches in the shape of baby animals. They are also the birthplace of the Shiba Inu, arguably one of the cutest dogs on the planet. But cute cats? This is the first we've heard of that. However, this Japanese photographer is here to prove us wrong. He candidly takes remarkable photos of cats on the street, showing us that even stray cats can wiggle their way into our hearts.
Are they cuter than American cats? We guess that's up to you to decide. But these photos are pretty darn cute, and this definitely moved Japan higher up on our list of places to travel just for the added benefit of some kitty-snuggles. Imagine a Lady and the Tramp situation, but with sushi and a cat! Meow!
"Henry-san, how many times do I have to tell you? You must believe in yourself if you want to succeed. You can do it, I know you can, but you must first believe. Now, go steal that piece of tuna!"
We're not quite sure what these kitties are doing, but it looks like they're best friends trying to do the Patty-cake game. Except, sideways and not in front of each other. Maybe they play Patty-cake differently in Japan?
