Oh boy. This is quite something… Although it is no secret that a lot of people aren't really into that whole 'taking responsibility for your actions' type of thing, it's still super frustrating to read about when scouring through Reddit. Whether it's because they are in denial, or just radically unaware of their own behavior, or perhaps just looking for someone else to blame… It can get a little ridiculous. First off, kudos to u/who_asked4569 for even going to therapy, because as her post so proves, a lot of people who should, don't.
Second of all, when did it become okay to record someone else's private therapy sessions? We're all the villain in someone's story (and in this case, the mother sounds like quite the villain). Might as well own up to what we did wrong and try to be better people, right? If people want you to speak well of them, then they should have behaved better. Deal with the consequences.
