When you work at a company for over a decade, you would likely expect your long-lasting effort and commitment to be appreciated. There is a reason that the plot of so many movies begins with the protagonist throwing his or her hands up in the air, at a loss for why the universe must be so cruel after the company hires a new boss. When new management enters the picture, it often ain't pretty. After all your hardworking efforts are plowed into the ground, your labor is overlooked, and you are tossed away like trash, you might be quite keen on exacting some sweet revenge. And that, you shall.
While scouring Reddit, as we often do, we happened upon a post in one of our favorite subs, r/pettyrevenge. Well, we were not disappointed. u/chook_slop took it upon himself to make his old company suffer, all whilst doing a good deed. When you put bad and good together, you get 'distressingly righteous'. In our books, at least.
Scroll down to read about his petty revenge. And if you catch yourself wishing that the weekend would never end because you really don't feel like replying to all those emails that are sitting in your inbox, click here for some relatable memes.
