"Gharials lay a large clutch of eggs, between 60 and 100 at a time. Females will lay eggs in dug-out nests in close proximity. Once they hatch, the baby gharials swarm to their parents. When threatened they will often retreat to the nearest adult and try to clamber onto its back or head."

"Musk oxen are known for their thick coats and are named for the strong odor emitted by males during the seasonal rut. When a herd is threatened, the adults will form a ring or semicircle with their horns towards the predator - the young are protected inside the circle."

"Females lay an egg mass and after fertilizing them, the male takes the eggs into his mouth and incubates them for several days or up to several weeks for some species. During this time he does not eat, and his activities are restricted to juggling the eggs in his mouth to aerate them."
