Good morning, people! Yup, it's indeed Monday, you did not get it wrong. And yes, you are totally looking at your phone when you should be getting out of bed. But - sigh - it's hard to get out of bed on any Monday morning, let alone a Monday morning that's so cold and wintery. We, for one, feel like we need a boost, something to help us get out of bed, something to help us feel inspired and really get ready to kick this week's butt. Lucky for all of us, you know what time it is, it's time for this week's collection of animal pictures worth more than 1000 words.

There are only two things that these photos have in common. 1) They have animals in them. And 2) each and every one of these photos - whether it's the cute animal photos or the incredibly funny animal photos or the photos that force you to do a double-take and remind you of just how awesome nature is - each of them holds a story within it.
