Do you remember when you were a kid, and your Grandma used to come over for a holiday dinner and pinch your cheeks? She would say something like, "Look how cute you are! I could just eat you up!", while pinching and pulling your cheeks so hard they get red? Well, turns out we have the same instinct to do the exact same to animals, but this time they like it! We love dogs with squishy faces, and we also love cats with comically long whiskers, but we're here to show you the next best thing - peanut cheeks.
Peanut cheeks comes from chipmunks who stuff their cute little cheeks hilariously full, but some cats naturally have it without the face-stuffing aspect. Imagine all the cuteness from stuffed cheeks with the calm, detached love of a cat. It's the perfect combination that makes you want to kiss their little faces even more! Once you've seen it, you can't unsee it, and you'll thank us for it.
Look at those perfectly roasted peanuts! This kitty looks full and ready to cause some chaos. The cheeks say "Kiss me!", but the eyes say "Danger, danger Will Robinson!". We just want to snuggle up next to those underneath the blanket and never get out.
It's not just cats - seals have adorable little peanut cheeks too! They look so floofy and squishy, and paired with those big, round eyes have us weak in the knees from downright cuteness! Seals are like cats, but in water, right? Could we call them…peanut butter cheeks?
