Cats… Cats have been pretty much the only thing that has kept us sane this year. Even throughout this entire holiday season, when we thought that we could not handle any more festivities and craziness, our cats were right there for us. These last few weeks, we have enjoyed the end of the year cat-style. We've seen the funniest cat memes of the year, we've looked through the most awwdorable kittens of 2022, we've even put together a collection of the most heartwarming cat adoption stories of 2022. We've appreciated cats through and through - as best as we could. But it's still not enough. Nothing is ever enough.
That's why we make this cat medley every single week. Here, we give love to cats on a consistent and constant basis - without shame and with only love. So, please, enjoy the very last cat medley of the year, and we will be waiting to see you back here during 2023.
"Found this girl this morning at 6am in freezing weather. More in comments…
We were celebrating Christmas morning at my parents house and she came to the door looking absolutely frozen. We took her in and gave her food and water. She devoured the canned food. She's tiny and skinny, with an injury on her nose. She's also declawed on her four paws. We think she has most likely been outside for a while. I've been scouring the local lost and found group but nothing. Our local shelter is closed too for the next two days so we will be keeping her warm and fed until we can see if she has a microchip and an owner looking for her.
Edit : just wanted to add that as much as I would love to keep her, me and husband are being realistic and are/will be looking for her current owner. Of course we're hoping they're not the ones who declawed her. We still don't have the right to claim her unless no one comes to do so as it would be stealing. We only want what is best for her as she is super cuddly and loving and like all other animals deserve a warm home full of love."
"My kitty used to be so affectionate towards me and the other cats. Ever since he was neutered he does not like to be held or pet as much as he used to and starts fights with my female cat. Is there any reason for this? How can I fix it?"
