The 50 Cutest Kittens Of 2022: The Tiniest, Sweetest, And Spiciest Criminals Of The Year
2022 has been a year of ups and downs. There was drama, there was laughter, there was surprise. So many things happened that drove the world to the brink of insanity. But one thing remained pure the entire year. Well, pure by their standards. Kittens. Itty bitty teeny weeny kittens. We make a collection of the cutest kittens of the week every single week. We showcase the smallest, the most viral, and the most pawdorable - because they make us smile, and they remind us that, no matter what happens in the world, there are still cute pics of cats to look at to make things better.
Now, of course, we say 'pure by their standards' because kittens are not actually all that pure. They're criminals. They have power over us that is like nothing else. They force us to aww uncontrollably. Somehow, they stick butterflies in our bellies whenever we so much as look at them. And they fill us with an unprecedented desire to adopt a kitten. Kittens are spicy criminals, and yet, no matter how much we warn you about their power, you come back, week by week, to see our recap of them. So fine, we gave in and decided to make a collection of the cutest - and most dangerous - kittens of all of 2022.
"A rare male torbie, double confirmed by 2 vets at a high intake shelter. We saw up to 25k cats per year at work so I saw four in roughly 3 years, high volume means lots of weird anomalies. This lad is a current occupant of the nursery. He is appalled."
"This tiny little thing is in bite quarantine at my shelter. She barely even has teeth yet, but the people who brought her in said she was vicious. As I opened her kennel to give her a bed, she crawled directly into my hands and started purring."
"I volunteer with a rescue. This is Fish. He has flat chested kitten syndrome and wears a brace to give his body a chance to grow normally. My kids don’t know it - but we’re adopting Fish."
"Big head kitten found in Detroit, name of Nuggie, found this, just had to share. Her whiskers are longer than her body, so she sometimes trips over them!”"
