A Truly Relatable Video For All Mothers: Mother Cat Scolds Kitten For Messing Up The Bed Then Goes to Fix It Herself

We can't tell you exactly why, but after watching this video we felt a little relieved. Parenting is one of the hardest challenges people face in life (there are memes to support this), something about knowing that you're not actually crazy, but it's your kids that are driving you crazy. It can be enough to drive you to post some crazy things on Facebook and make your hair fall out from frustration. But the bottom line is - we love our kids more than anything in the world. Most of the time.

That doesn't negate, however, that after you told your kids 100 times to make their bed, and instead they play with the sheets and mess up everything, you just want to scream. This mother cat goes through this exact process, and we somehow feel a bit closer to our furry, feline friends. If this tired cat mom can discipline her child and get all of her chores done, we believe you can too. We believe in you, Mom. And if you're having an extra tough day, just remember, it's wine o'clock somewhere.

    At this point, we can assume that the kitten is now thinking "I've made a terrible mistake!" (bonus points if you know where that reference is from). We all did this when we were kids, though. It's all fun and games…until Mom finds out.

    It's somehow comforting to know that the mother/child relationship is the same in the animal kingdom. It wasn't just our mother who was crazy. Actually, now that we're adults (or so we're told on a daily basis), perhaps we as kids were the crazy ones and our Mother was the sane one…
