Bird Talk of the Week: Cutest cockatiel birb loves to sing ditties from 'The Legend of Zelda' while wearing a leaf as a hat

People who own birds with the potential to “talk” know they have to be wary about what they repeat around their bird. If you're constantly shouting obscenities, your bird might just mimic that, and then when you have guests over, they're gonna know what kind of potty mouth you are. But sometimes, they pick up on something that is wholesome, and you didn't even mean to do. 

That's the case with sweet Crumpet, a pet cockatiel viral on TikTok for his epic little ditties he chirps. His most popular song, of course, being a melody only those who play The Legend of Zelda would know. Which means, this bird's mama probably plays it pretty often if he knows the tune.

Viewers are stoked. Fans of birds and the Zelda video game are coming together to share the adorable-ness of this bird. The feathery lil guy seems to chirp it often—his TikTok profile features multiple videos of him chirping away like the Ocarina in Zelda. However, he also chirps other songs. Another popular one featured on his TikTok is from the Studio Ghibli classic Totoro.
