Guys, we have officially made it to the end of 2022! Congratulations. It's been a rough year. But one thing that has been continuously amazing are the sweet cat adoption stories that came from this year. So, welcome the newly adopted faces of the last week of 2022!
Week by week, as always, we bring you a brand new collection of the most wholesome cat adoption posts and stories that we found on the web. Reading these stories has been making us - and you guys - happy all year long, and they will continue to do so in the new year.
Thank you to everyone who adopted a kitty this week - and to everyone who adopted this year. An even bigger thank you goes to all of you who adopted senior cats, sick cats, cats with behavioral issues, cats that have been rehomed, and all the other "impurrfect" kitties. You guys have all made a huge impact in these cats' lives, and we are truly grateful to each and every one of you. Happy new year, friends!
"A few months ago, we found an abandoned kitten stuck in a tree! This is her after we got her down and took her inside. We've adopted her, and she is so much healthier and happier now. ?"
"This is the third cat to walk into my house in a month. I have no clue what is going on anymore and my partner has told me three is the max.
Update: We did in fact find her home! She's being picked up in a little bit now! The other two definitely don't belong to this person so we're still keeping them while checking online religiously to see if anyone reports them missing! I do want to note we took the other two to get scanned for chips and they both didn't have one, both had pretty bad worms and one had fleas. So we're fairly confident that we aren't stealing anyone's baby but rest assured I'm being diligent about this!
Update two: She's finally with her people! It turns out this little sweetheart and her brother are allowed supervised time outside but her brother pushed a wonky window open the other night while their people were out and she had been missing for two days (her brother got caught the same night) they've moved into the rental house directly behind us not too long ago and the last time she got out one of the neighbours did what some of the people here were worried about. They saw the little cutie and kept her until the police were apparently involved. I have no clue how they found her but I was warned to expect more visits! So at least I know I can message them and hand her over the fence next time lol
All in all I was happy to get her back home to her family! They were very apologetic and thankful to have her back."
