Dumb rules were meant to be broken. Everyone has a right to feel safe in their own home and going by that logic, it seems fair that whoever wants to install a personal doorbell camera should be allowed to do so. Unfortunately, some building boards don't have the brightest or most empathetic members, causing the tenants' lives to become somewhat difficult. If the Kens and Karens of the board refuse to listen to reason and adjust the bylaws…you can always try to make their life challenging. It may not be an easy feat, but nothing is impossible.
Sometimes we gotta put a little effort in for that to happen… But loopholes do exist, and it's worth the pettiness just to see the looks on their faces. That's what this man decided to do after being told he was violating the bylaws of his apartment building… Not only did he find a loophole (that they flat out and adamantly decided to ignore), but he made their lives just a little more miserable by removing all the laptops that he was personally responsible for, from the computer lab in the building.
