Over our time writing for ICanHas, we have seen wildlife conservations and shelters do some incredible things- go to so much effort to help big cats around the world. We have seen everything from the heartwarming rescue of 5 tiny cheetah cubs who tragically lost their momma to 2 abused tigers get rescued after 15 years of being stuck in a train car and touch grass for the first time all the way to a global conservation effort getting marked by a zoo throwing an adorable housewarming party to a lion trio.
When we hear "Oklahoma Department Wildlife Conservation", we think: "Amazing rescues! Heartwarming stories! Kind heroes!" We don't really think that they could get… hilariously pissed. But hey, there's a first time for everything, and today, we got to see the Oklahoma Department Wildlife Conservation get all sassy because one of their employees apparently wrote "your mother" under a cougar sighting report description.
There is so much going on in this one little tweet. When we read it for the first time, we legit had to do a double-take and read it again. The passive aggression, the dumb "your momma" joke, the fact that they're asking for this person's @. This tweet is perfection and the reason that we have stayed on twitter this long.
Honestly, every single exchange in this thread is so stupidly funny that we don't even know what to say. God, we hope that more places would get this hilariously sassy online about things like this. We need the levity in our lives right now. Thank you, Oklahoma Department Wildlife Conservation, for absolutely making our day.
