Cat Keeps Looking Into the Camera Like She’s on ‘The Office' While Mom Gives Her a Stern Talking To About the Christmas Tree

Cat parenting has reach an entirely differently level these days. Pets are the new children and plants are the new pets. So don't be surprised when you see a mom scolding her fur baby for something or trying to reason with her feline child even though the cat clearly does not speak english. Though it's not shocking to see these days, it will always be at least a little funny to see. However, a cat on TikTok has now raised the bar with her The Office style responses.

It's the holiday season and many cat parents know that this is a time of war. A time where it is decorations versus cats. Many cats see a Christmas tree as their personal scratch post, and ornaments as their own play things. But this cat mama on TikTok decided  that this year would be the year of peace. 

How would she bring peace amongst her kitty and her Christmas tree? A good ole' fashioned stern talking to. She clearly and aggressively laid down the law for her kitty in concern for the tree. The kitty was told she could not climb or bite the tree. That she is only allowed to look at the tree and smell its “festive aroma.” Between each remark, however, the cat would go from looking at her mom confused, to looking at the camera like she was about to roll her eyes. As if she were Jim from The Office getting told something ridiculous from Dwight. 

You can't NOT hear the theme song to The Office while looking at these photos. The mom has kept her viewers informed on the tree's status, to see if the cat actually listened to her and has kept away from the tree. So far, it seems like the peace has been kept. But there still is plenty of time for this mischievous kitty from The Office to make some quirky plan and bring down this decoration.
