'He looked at me with shock ': Jerk father-to-be gets owned by his own father after giving silent treatment to his wife over the gender of their child

It's ok to have feelings; they're only natural and not something that we can always control. Still, it's not ok for you to take those feelings out on other innocent people in your life who have done nothing wrong to cause the situation.

That's the mistake that this father-to-be made when he decided to take out his "gender disappointment" on his pregnant wife. The two had been expecting their first child, but upon learning that the child was to be a girl, the father-to-be began giving his wife the silent treatment, blaming her for the gender of their unborn child. The kinda funny thing about this entire thing is that it's the sperm that determines the sex of the child, so it really is his fault if anyone is to be blamed.

Now, we all get an idea in our head sometimes and let that idea run wild, building an expectation about things to come that aren't based on reality. When reality is inevitably different, sometimes we feel disappointed despite the thing still being awesome overall. Our brain is just coming to terms with the fact that it's not what it had pictured from the outset. This is all ok, but again, it's all in how you go about dealing with your feelings.

This awesome dad (grandpa-to-be) was sure to set his son straight and hit him with a savage burn that he won't soon forget.
