There's something uniquely humbling about tolerating the stinky smells of a bathroom to avoid being in a situation any longer. I'm sure all of us have been in a position so dreadful that we must hide in the toilet for long periods to maintain our sanity. Conditions that might require this include, but are not limited to, high school math class, a family reunion that's gone on long enough, and a horrible customer service job.
