'The Karen Blueprint': Healthcare worker shares POV of what it's like having to deal with the most entitled Karen client

Over the years many different versions of the notorious "Karen" has come to light. The monstrous entitled person has evolved to be many fearful beings—like someone yelling at you to get out of "their" parking space, even though it is a public spot. Or someone yelling at you because you work in the service industry and obviously every problem is your fault. Or maybe you're unfortunate enough to come across a Karen while working retail and they're trying to return something that isn't even from that store. But it was the O.G. classic Karen that started it all—the "get me your manager" Karen.

“Get me your Manager”—that is the Karen catchphrase. Galilea Jacobo, a woman who works in healthcare, recently shared a point of view video of her experience with the most classic of Karens. She was simply trying to do her job the best she can, when an entitled Karen walks in demanding to see a doctor who was not there. She tried to explain to the tantrum-throwing Karen that the doctor is physically not there anymore, so there is no possible way to see him. But the Karen was being a classic Karen and making her job harder. She demanded Galilea call the doctor back to the office so he can see her. Obviously, she has an incurable case of entitlement.

Galilea stood her ground and did her job well, giving the Karen multiple options that are possible and trying to find a solution to the situation. But the Karen pulled the classic Karen line, the blueprint line for all Karens, “get me your manager.” Ahhh yes, lest we forget the Karen roots! Karens might be evolving to be another kind of miserable human interjecting themselves where they shouldn't and demanding things they just can't have. But never forget, that ultimately, Karens just want to talk to the manager…. NOW.
