The world can be a cruel and cold place. Filled with disappointment, anxieties, and many other nightmarish things. We try to soother our fears and stress with medication, booze, partying, or anything. We try to hold onto our serotonin as best we can, but humanity truly makes it difficult. But when you find a wholesome and healthy something that gives you a dose of serotonin, even if it's just a tiny bit, you hold onto it. That very well could be seeing videos of goldfish in wheelchairs. That's right, you probably never even thought of that before. Well, technically it's not a wheelchair, because it's not a chair and there are no wheels. But it essentially helps in the same way a wheelchair helps a person with a disability.
Fish wheelchairs are usually just some DIY harness connected to a floating device, like a piece of styrofoam or cork, that is lightly connected to the fish. It's used when a fish is missing a fin, or has an illness like "fish bladder," which prevents them from swimming. It's epically wholesome to see these tiny, usually discarded creatures, getting some love and care. Check it out below!
