Oh you poor unsuspecting fool. Anyone who has seen Game of Thrones, which is—let's be honest—most of the screen-owning world, know that the Red Wedding scene is one of the most shocking of the entire series.

Spoiler alert ahead (if you haven't seen it yet, but like, you should probably move out from under that rock…): Long story short, the Red Wedding scene is when a certain beloved expecting couple and main family get betrayed and the pregnant woman literally gets stabbed in the belly. So many characters that viewers had grown so close to were mvrdered in that scene and every GoT fan knows that the first time seeing this see is absolutely traumatizing.

A TikToker only was simply trying to make a wholesome DIY crafts video. She was just finishing up a little yarn piece she was proud about crafting as a Christmas present, but her attention was soon stolen away completely. The new viewer of the show had no idea what she was about to endure. The craft video quickly turned into a genuine reaction video to watching one of the most heartbreaking scenes in any series EVER (don't @ us).

The transition from happy crafter, to distracted, to confused, to complete shock, to balling tears is how millions felt when the first experienced that scene. Her reaction is so genuine and relatable it is almost comforting to see. This is further proof that you aren't the only one who completely lost it when you first saw the Red Wedding scene.

Some viewers share their own first time reaction. One person wrote, “i watched the red wedding for the first time during study hall in my junior year of hs and i vividly remember turning around to SHOCKED faces.” Another commented, “nah bc the red wedding had me sobbing, shaking, and mourning over fictional characters.” Many other GoT fans commented how they both wish they could experience their initial reaction to the Red Wedding scene, but also not.

Now we all know, Game of Thrones is most definitely NOT one of those series to play as “background” noise while you try to do something else.
