A guy recently took to Reddit to shine light on what the men might want for Valentine's Day since the holiday tends to be centered around women. The results were actually very surprisingly sweet and wholesome. It's no surprise that men want some romance too, it's 2023, toxic masculinity is out and it's an accepted fact that everyone needs love. What IS surprising is the lack of internet trolls taking advantage of this question—men are actually expressing some really sweet sentiments. Yes, okay, of course there is the typical "job" answer, which is understandable. And there are the men who just hate the holiday all together and wish it didn't exist. But then there are the men who are so sentimental and honest! You'd think it would just be an entire thread of men asking for a certain "job," but instead it's men asking for things like heart shaped beef jerky, flowers, going out to a nice dinner, and cuddling.
We're not trying to act surprised that men also want Valentine's Day presents, of course they do, who doesn't like to receive little gifts that are actually symbols of love and appreciation? We suppose it's just surprising to see the internet taking such a question seriously. Read some of our favorite responses below!
