As pet owners, we wonder, every once in a while, what will happen one day when we have kids? How are they going to react to our pets? What are they gonna think about them? We want our kids to be best friends with our pets - obviously, and we know that cats can be great with babies and that dogs are absolutely wonderful with babies, but still… you never know how your future kids are going to see your pets.

Well, turns out that some kids don't see their pets as pets at all. Apparently, they just think of their pets as their siblings or as some- weird humans who live in their houses. And, well, it's true that sometimes, animals act suspiciously like humans, but we certainly thought that they were different enough for our kids to realize they're a different species. Or not.

Kids seriously have some of the best reactions to things. It's always funny to watch them find out new things. But here, we have to admit that… sometimes, we too forget that our puppers are not real humans. They're just such huge parts of our lives and our families that we can't help but think of them as human sometimes.

Sometimes, we think of them as human a bit too much. If you've ever said anything to your pet - yes, because we talk to them, don't judge - and actually half-expected them to answer you with actual human words… then you know you're in a bit too deep.
