He was hit by a motorbike And suddenly, his legs stopped working

my.disabled.hairy.friends A few weeks ago, Heike @koh_samui_dogstreets called me-a dog needed help. He was hit by a motorbike and couldn't walk anymore. He lived on a coconut plantation, cared for by local Burmese farmworkers—but they had no resources to get him to a vet.

The blow to his head shut down his neural functions

So I stepped in... would he ever walk again? I named him Aramis-after the fearless Musketeer. Every bit of training? He soaked it up-totally. What a guy. Patient. Trusting. And now... look at him run. What a comeback for Aramis. Handsome as a prince

pinkgerber Oh Sybille thank you for sharing Aramis's accomplishment. This made my morning. Your love, dedication, expertise is SUPER! These disabled sweet pups that land in your care will never know how blessed and fortunate they are. These unfortunate tragedies happen and they could be left to die on the streets and they don't because of you. Keep doing what you're doing. It means so much.

jackieluvs2camp Sybille there is absolutely no one like you!!! With your strength of conviction and love for these dogs you have moved mountains and opened up the eyes, of many naysayers out here, to the possibilities for injured dogs. You have taught many of us so much from your posts. The largest lesson of all is to never give up and keep the faith!!!! Thank you for all that you do for these beautiful pups!

jaxstar94 It's sad that people just would write off an accident like this. Humans who have had traumatic accidents go through months of rehab and recover so I'm so glad you give the same hope to dogs. You really are a miracle worker! Will he go back to here he was before now?
