People in their twenties have a bizarre relationship with aging. When you're in your first couple of years of adulthood, it's natural to see anyone who is in their late twenties and early thirties as being insurmountable older than you. However, once you get into your mid-twenties, you must stop treating other young adults like they are geriatric. 

Last week,  I may or may not have gone to a speed dating event and possibly witnessed something wild. A 24-year-old told a 32-year-old they "didn't look a day over 26." I was so confounded and confused when I heard those words exit her mouth. Do 26-year-olds and 31-year-olds really look that different? Absolutely not! If you're in your twenties, and somebody in their thirties claims they're "old," do not take the bait! Do not, under any circumstances, agree with them! Thirty-somethings are addicted to inaccurately claiming they're old, so don't do it. Whether you're pushing 30, 40, or 50, we're all here, scrolling through random memes, which is timeless.
