27-year-old entrepreneur self-publishes 1500 AI-generated books and makes $3 million: 'Some people really have no honor'

There are a lot of books that get published every day that are a labor of literary passion. Many books published through self-publishing or traditional methods are the passion project of their writer, who has spent months or years slaving away on this text. They don't care if it sells one copy or one million copies…what matters most to them is they created a work of art and they are putting it out there in the world for all to see.

On the other hand, there are a lot of books out there that aren't necessarily anyone's baby. Take, for instance, a book of Christmas Cupcake Decorating ideas that seems to have no listed author, or any one of the books in the "For Dummies" series. A company produces these books for the purpose of making money. They are often informative and instructive instead of literary, and there's nothing wrong with that. There is so much room in the market for books that straightforwardly teach you how to do something. There's a reason the self-help genre is such a phenomenon. People want answers to their problems, and if a book can solve those problems, more power to them.

The dude in this story wants to create instructional books, but he doesn't necessarily care whether they help people or not. He's using AI to generate thousands of books, aiming to make a ton of money from them, with little consideration for the quality of the book's content. After all, nobody can write 1500 good books, even if they intend to do so.
