Happy morning, cat people! We hope that you have had a pawnderful week! But whether you did or you didn't, we're about to make sure you start your weekend off on the right paw. That's right, it's time to meet the newly adopted faces of the week!
Every single Friday, we start your day off with a brand new collection of the sweetest cat adoption stories we could find. Because there is nothing that we love more, as cat people, than seeing these precious furballs find their forever homes.
Thank you to every single person who adopted this week - whether you adopted a tiny itty bitty kitten, a fully grown catto - we're thankful. And we're even more thankful to those of you who adopted the 'less than pawfect' kitty cats - the senior cats, the sick cats, or the cats who have behavioral issues. "After losing my Asian ticked tabbing, Maggie Wu, to "kyle" at 20 months old, I went to choose a cat from the Animal Welfare League. I had one in mind but a little boy bat me to him. So I went and sat in a huge enclosure with about 40 cats. Helsa came up to me and sat beside me. She swatted any other cat away from me.
Since then, she has been my companion and saved me after my partner was killed. She lay on my chest every morning and purred deeply into me for three months. She hasn't done that since. It was just for that time." -
