Maine Coon Mama Surprises Family by Giving Birth to Five Kittens Just a Couple of Days After Christmas

Nobody knows what to do during the days after the holidays but before New Years Eve. Like, maybe you kind of go back to work, but not fully because you have New Years off too. So you're just eating all the leftover Christmas cookies and sitting around bored as can be. Maybe you're working hard to figure out your NYE plans or you're actively ghosting people for NYE. You do you, man. 

Something that will spice up those ambiguous days are surprise kittens. Let's be honest, surprise kittens will brighten up anyones day. That's what this Maine Coon recently gifted her human family. They knew mama was pregnant with kittens, but they weren't sure about when cat mama was gonna pop. The video shows the human mom asking her when she was going to have her kittens and that they're all very excited to meet them. She had no idea that the Maine Coon had already have birth to three and was in active labor.

A beautiful and amazing sight to see: a large breed cat walking around casually like she's just running some easy ‘ole errands. And then she comes to her humans to tell them something. She’s acting sweet and meowing away, but it's obvious she wants you to follow. And then BAM you walk into a cozy little area with three new kittens curled up together. The Maine Coon ended up having five healthy kittens in total and even the Maine Coon dad was there to help clean up mom and babysit the kittens when mom needed a break. 

Awww nothing like experiencing the most adorable family grown right before your eyes to really make those in-between-holidays-and-NYE days so much more special.
