Being a grown-up means having to come to terms with the fact that some people are jerks. Yes, even the ones you love, if not especially. This is what happened to a dude who had purchased a $600 spa package, meant for him and his girlfriend at the time — he planned on taking her there for the Christmas holidays. She promptly broke up with him before they got a chance to go, and kept the certificate (of course).
Heartbroken, he heard from mutual friends that she was seeing someone else — but instead of confronting her about it, he decided to enact some petty revenge (well deserved). She was absolutely livid, because well, she's crazy. She was certain she could use the certificate with her new boo but failed miserably as the spa accused her of stealing.
