As it turns out, this lady had the power the whole time. After a failed abusive marriage, u/West-Cardiologist-30 discovered that her ex-husband was still using her name/account for the power in his home, the house they used to share together before she left him. Luckily, the timing of this discovery came around his birthday and Valentine's Day.
So what did the Redditor do? Well, knowing he wasn't living with anyone and therefore she wouldn't be endangering anyone else, she decided to do the sensible thing: shut off all the power unannounced in the middle of the night. If that isn't icon behavior, I don't know what is.
