It turns out people really can be that crazy and that entitled. You would think this is just something we see on TV or fabricated in a story, but nope! When it comes to choosing beggars, the audacity of some of these people is so shocking it's almost inspiring (I joke, of course).
This thread was posted to Reddit's r/ChoosingBeggars subreddit by u/greenacregal, who was selling their bed for free and gave plenty of warning about the pickup time window and the need for a second person to assist in lifting the bed up a flight of stairs. There really isn't a world in which you can blame the Redditor for not being transparent, although the choosing beggar did seem slightly unhinged from the start so perhaps the Redditor is not the best judge of character. At a certain point, the choosing beggar's texting becomes almost sitcom-esque ("why are you so mean to me?" is certainly a highlight).
