Wiley the Siberian Husky Tows His Hooman Up Snowy Mountains So She Can Avoid Lift Lines and Ski For Free

Huskies are known to be some of the highest energy dogs. Originally bred to be working dogs that would pull heavy sleds, these puppers pack a punch not only with their intellect, but they're also insanely muscular bodies and vigorous spirit. One woman named Sally Compton has decidedly put these traits to good use in her hometown of Bend, Oregon, a mountain town known for ski resorts, snowboarding lifestyle, and apparently, skijoring.

Basically Skijoring describes any sport where a person on skis is pulled by a horse, dog, animal, or even a motor vehicle and it's also the most insane sport that you've never heard of. Sally trains her Siberian Husky, a hefty 80lbs floofer named Wiley, to tow her on skis during the winter season, having fun with cross country courses, taking advantage of long dog-xercise sessions, and avoiding paying for a ski pass at the Bend Mountain Resort.  

This excuberent doggo may be the luckiest husky in the world. He gets to romp and play in the snow all he wants, his owner gets to ski for free, and he becomes the hero of the day. Huskies love snow, so Wiley, the best boy ever, is pretty much doing what he loves all day and getting rewarded for it. Spending quality time with his owner is another big perk of this dog's new job. As masters of the mountain, this duo cannot be stopped. 

Sally even creates a gag video claiming that in Bend there is a company that does doggo skijoring rentals. Renting a sled dog would save you money on a pass and it would save you the hassle of waiting in line at the bottom of the mountain. No need to wait, you're attached to the lift! Plus, rentable huskies come in many colors of fluff and can keep up with you pretty much all day. In fact, a husky could probably out do any hooman on a mountain day. 

Either way, anyone who skis and loves dogs watches Sally and Wiley with a deep envy. If only we could get our dachshunds, chihuahuas, and golden doodles out into the snow to tow us up a mountain. Unfortunately the only good boys with the stamina, strength, and drive to do such a crazy sport would be the craziest of breeds: The Husky.
