'Would you shut up already!': Guy gets roasted by his own mother after making a scene over his steak
This guy wanted a well-done steak but ended up getting roasted himself.
There's nothing that can make a man feel small like his own mother. Even the toughest of gangsters know not to cross their mamma. When mom lays down the line and says, "Enough is enough," then you had better quit.
This Dad was determined to act out the Applebee's scene in Talladega Nights before his mother stepped in. The story was posted by their server, u/Papakeely, to Reddit's r/talesfromyourserver subreddit.
The family came into the steakhouse where the server worked to order their turkey special for Thanksgiving. Things kicked off after the dad had insisted on ordering a steak and that his steak be well-done.
The turkey was pretty much prepped and ready to go due to its popularity this time. So the server informed them that the timing would be off between the steak and the turkey. The dad insisted that this would be fine, bring it all out at once, and the family would wait to eat together.
Ten minutes later, his tune had changed, and he was demanding their food. Meanwhile, the steak was still on its way to being well done, but they had seated a full house, so the kitchen was slammed.
By the time the "I want to see the manager" card was played, the server was prepared… and the dad's family was getting sick of his attitude.
